Opportunities to Serve through Music

Check the musical group that interests you, provide information about yourself at the bottom of the form, and Submit.
	Chancel Choir sings an anthem every Sunday at the 10:30 a.m. worship service. The Chancel Choir’s musical style runs the spectrum from classical to spirituals to contemporary-praise. They rehearse on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
	John Wesley Bell Choir rings a special piece once a month. Substitutes are needed throughout the choir year. The ability to read music is an advantage. The bell choir practices on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.
	Joyful Noise is a children’s choir for K-1st graders. The kids sing every 4 to 6 weeks at the 10:30 a.m. service. Practices are on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. A pianist is greatly needed at the weekly practices.
	Singers of Praise is for children in grades 2 thru 6. They sing each 4 to 6 weeks, mostly at the later service. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. A pianist is greatly needed at the weekly practices.
	Youth Vocal Ensemble is for vocalists in middle and senior high. They sing an up-beat praise song each month. The youth ensemble practices on Sundays at 11:30 - noon as needed.
	Youth Bell Choir performs regularly for the 10:30 am prelude on Sunday mornings. Rehearsals take place in the sanctuary on Mondays from 4:00-5:00 pm.
	Gospel Guys is our current instrumental ensemble. Members of the group sing, play guitar, bass guitar, piano and drums to accompany the Wonderful Wednesday service and provide some specials on Sunday mornings. The Gospel Guys rehearse on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m.
	The Music Lovers was formed in the summer of 2007 to perform songs made popular in the 1930's and 1940's at area nursing homes.
