Opportunities to Serve Children and Youth

Check the group that you would be willing to help lead, provide information about yourself at the bottom of the form, and Submit.
	Preschool Sunday School Teaching preschool age children. Using curriculum in the room. Usually teach 1 month at a time alternating with other teachers.
	Rotation Sunday School Teach kindergarten -5th grade age children. Teach for a 2- 3 week time period. Teachers can choose to teach Cooking, Bible Story, Science, Music, Art, Games, or Video. Curriculum is based on a story or theme and changes every 7 weeks.
	Middle School Sunday School Teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade aged youth. Follow curriculum in room.
	High School Sunday School Teach High school aged youth. Follow curriculum in room.
	Power and Light Company Volunteer Wednesday afternoons (after school) 3:00-5:00. We have people help the whole time or volunteer to help read the story, help with the games, help with the art or craft project. We also have people who are “extra hands” for times when an extra person is required.
	Chaos Adults supervise and” hang out” with children and youth from 5:30-6:30 pm on Wednesday evenings in Peatling Hall between Power and Light and youth groups and/or worship time. The children and youth play games and enjoy fellowship during this time.
	Youth Groups — 5th and 6th grade, 7th & 8th grade, High School We meet on Wednesday evenings after supper (6:30) to enjoy fellowship, engage in Christian fellowship, fun, and a Bible lesson or study. We begin with all groups together for a quick devotion and announcements and then break into 3 groups. We plan special activities, mission projects, and fundraising activities.
	Children’s Time Talk with the children during the Sunday worship service about a lesson they should or could learn about the sermon for the week or how to live as a Christian.
